We run three sizes, and on Alva's bigger lots folks tend to size up a notch. The 7-yard is best for a small cleanout, a garage, or a minor remodel. Alva sits about 49 road miles from our yard, and we would still rather you use the county when it fits. Bulk goes curbside next to the regular garbage, and if it will not fit in the truck the hauler tags it and comes back inside three days. Construction debris is capped at under two cubic yards a week, fifty pounds a container where the truck is not automated. Concrete is not eligible for county pickup at all, and anything a contractor generates is the contractor's problem, not the county's. If your pile is a remodel, that is where it falls apart and a dumpster is the cheaper end of it.
