Need a dumpster in Placida? We're Dumpster Fire, a family-run dumpster rental and junk removal crew based right next door in Port Charlotte, and we drop roll-offs all over the south end of Placida Road. We'll get a dumpster to you and tell you the price before you book. Call or text any hour, any day.
Placida sits at the coastal south end of Charlotte County, down where Placida Road runs out toward the barrier islands. It's marina country along Gasparilla Sound, with the fish houses, the ferry over to Little Gasparilla, and the causeway across to Boca Grande. The crowd here keeps docks, cottages, and waterfront places that always have something that needs to go.
We're based in Port Charlotte, so getting a roll-off down CR-775 to you is a quick run. Whether you're cleaning out a cottage by the harbor, reworking a seawall, or hauling off what a storm left behind, we deliver the dumpster, you fill it, and we haul it off. One price, told to you up front.

We run three sizes, and access matters on the soft waterfront lots and sandy fish-camp drives here. The 7-yard is best for a garage cleanout, yard waste, or light demo on a single room. The 15-yard is the one most folks grab, right for a cottage remodel or a mid-sized cleanout. The 20-yard is the big one, made for storm debris, a full reno, or a serious seawall-and-dock haul.
We deliver throughout Placida and the communities up and down CR-775, including Cape Haze, Rotonda West, Grove City, Boca Grande, Englewood, and Gulf Cove. That covers the south end of Placida Road, the marinas along Gasparilla Sound, the fish houses, the ferry dock, and the run out toward the Boca Grande causeway. We also cover the rest of Charlotte and Lee County.
A lot of these waterfront lots near Lemon Bay and the fish camps are soft or sandy, so we run a 4WD truck that handles wet ground. If your spot is tight or you're not sure the truck can reach it, send a photo when you call and we'll plan the drop ahead of time.
We run out of Port Charlotte and cover Placida and the rest of Charlotte County. Here's our service area.
A lot of our Placida calls are cottage cleanouts before peak season and clearing out places near the harbor. Folks working on the water use us for seawall reworks, dock rebuilds near Gasparilla Marina, and waterfront remodels, where the old decking and bent fasteners pile up.
This close to the Gulf, storm cleanup is a regular thing, so after a blow we run a lot of dumpsters for palm fronds, busted fencing, and torn-up dock boards. Marinas, the fish houses, and cottage-rental owners call us for slip cleanouts, off-season renos, and tenant leftovers.
Usually same-day or next-day, even way down by the marinas, depending on availability.
Only if it's going on a public street or right-of-way. On your own driveway or lot you're fine.
A 20-yard is the one for heavy storm debris, roofing, and large cleanouts.
Tell us the address and what you're working on, and we'll get a delivery on the calendar.
